1. What was it like for Black citizens living in the south in the 50s and 60s?
Blacks lived under constant fear and basically had to walk on eggshells around white people in the south any little thing they did wrong could get them killed.
2. How did it get so bad in America?
After the civil war a lot of southerners were angry at their rights being taken away.
